What if you're not just tired?
What if you're stuck in survival mode?

You live for Friday...
only to reach the weekend too exhausted to actually enjoy it.
You want to do more...
Exercise. See friends. Start a hobby. Travel. Date. Create. But somehow you never seem to have the energy to really enjoy your life.
You're exhausted, but can't truly rest.
You stay up scrolling even though you need sleep. You sleep, but still wake up feeling groggy and heavy.
You don't remember what fully alive feels like.
Energized. Playful. Curious. Maybe that feeling seems like a distant memory from childhood.
YOU MIGHT CALL IT...
Burnout.
Stress.
Anxiety.
Procrastination.
Exhaustion.
But your nervous system may still be doing exactly what it learned to do a long time ago:
Survive.
But what are you actually trying to survive? Life?
Your nervous system doesn't always know the difference between danger and daily life

Everyday stressors--a deadline, a hard conversation, a full inbox-can quietly trigger old survival programs, making ordinary life feel like a threat to be managed rather than a moment to be lived.
Unstuck From Survival Mode will help vou understand these old programs in both your mind and body and teach you how to access real safety again- so you can stop just trying to survive life and finally start living it.
A MIND + BODY APPROACH
How This Book Works
Through Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma Release Exercises (TRE), nervous system education, and guided mind-body practices, you'll learn to understand the parts of you that have been working so hard to protect you, release stored stress from the body, and build a structured practice that helps you move from simply getting through life to actually experiencing it.

IFS · WORK WITH YOUR INNER WORLD
Understand the parts trying to protect you.
Internal Family Systems, developed by Richard Schwartz, helps you understand the thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and patterns that can leave you feeling stuck. Rather than fighting the anxious part, the perfectionist, the procrastinating part, or the part that wants to shut down, you'll learn to get curious about why they're there and what they're trying to do for you — and gently help the younger parts they're protecting (called exiles), still carrying painful beliefs and past emotional overwhelm, finally release it.
As you build relationships with your parts, IFS helps you reconnect with your True Self — an inner resource of compassion, curiosity, clarity, confidence, and presence.

TRE · WORK WITH THE BODY
Help your body release what it's been holding.
Trauma & Tension Release Exercises, developed by Dr. David Berceli, use a series of simple, guided exercises to activate the body's natural neurogenic tremor — the same mechanism animals use in the wild to release survival energy once a threat has passed. Humans have this same response too, but most of us have been socially conditioned to suppress it. Through TRE, you'll learn the science behind this tremor and your nervous system, and how to release stored fight-or-flight and freeze responses.
A regular TRE practice helps release the backlog of stress stored in your system, while also regulating everyday stressors as they arise — so you feel more present, connected, and alive, rather than simply surviving.
MIND + BODY
Move from understanding healing to actually experiencing it.
Imagine waking up clear and excited for your day, with real energy for the things you love — feeling open-hearted and connected, to others and to yourself. This is what it looks like to meet your life with gratitude, instead of bracing against it as a threat."

MEET KYLIE FELLER
Why I Wrote This Book

I knew I would become a therapist at eleven years old.
Because by then, I had already lived through enough trauma to sense, deep down, that psychology would be part of how I found my way back to myself—and eventually, how I'd help others find their way too.
But it wasn't until I found Internal Family Systems that I felt I'd finally found the missing key to my own healing.
MY STORY
COMING HOME TO MYSELF
Reconnecting with my True Self changed my life.
It meant learning to lean back into a loving presence that had been inside me all along—and finally meeting the parts of me that had been working so hard to keep me alive with understanding, compassion, and real gratitude.
My Numbing Parts
My Hypervigilence
My Anxious Attachment
Parts that had carried so much, for so long, without ever being thanked. Once they finally felt seen and understood, they could begin to let go of what they'd been carrying—so that I could stop just surviving, and start truly living.
BACK INTO MY BODY
TRE brought me back into my body in a way that helped me feel embodied and deeply connected to myself.
Now, I use it weekly to discharge the ordinary stress of daily life—and when a part of me gets triggered, I have a real, physical way to help it release and regulate, so I can stay connected to myself instead of getting swept away.
It's also become one of the biggest supports for my everyday energy and my relationship with my body.
